When there is blood content in the urine followed by decreased urine quantity, it leads to Nephritic Syndrome. It is a common term for most of the kidney related diseases. Glomerulonephritis could be due to a sudden attack or it might build up gradually. There are two types of Glomerulonephritis. When the Glomerulonephritis occurs on it’s own, it is said to be primary Glomerulonephritis whereas if it is due to diseases like lupus or diabetes, it is termed as secondary glomerulonephritis. Acute Renal failure(ARF) is also known as Acute Kidney injury (AKI). The main function of the kidney is to remove the waste from the body and balance the fluids. When the kidney fails to perform this function, it is known as Acute Kidney injury. When the kidney fails to filter the waste from the body, the chemical action of the blood gets imbalanced as the toxins get accumulated in the body. Acute Renal failure can develop over a few hours or in few days.
