It is a common term for most of the kidney related diseases. Glomerulonephritis could be due to a sudden attack or it might build up gradually. There are two types of Glomerulonephritis. When the Glomerulonephritis occurs on it’s own, it is said to be primary Glomerulonephritis whereas if it is due to diseases like lupus or diabetes, it is termed as secondary glomerulonephritis. The treatment usually depends upon the type of glomerulonephritis for which kidney biopsy is required.

The research says that nearly 44 percent of the kidney failure is due to diabetes. You might have controlled your diabetes, yet there are high chances of CKD and kidney failures. It takes years to reach to the stage of kidney failure. Microalbuminuria is the earliest abnormality to oocur in urine before there are abnormalities in blood chemistry.
